Matthew Chavez is a registered patent attorney who prepares and prosecutes patents in the electrical engineering arts. His practice focuses on several technology areas including software, computer network communications, digital cameras, computer vision processing, electro-acoustic devices, microprocessors, telecommunications, home automation and security device interactions, autonomous driving, power electronics, robotics, and various mechanical devices. Matthew is licensed to practice in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Matthew earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California in Santa Barbara in 2007. Matthew graduated from Southwestern Law School in 2017. During law school Matthew obtained the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Patent Preparation and Prosecution.
