Joshua focuses his practice primarily on patent preparation and prosecution in the electrical arts. He has legal, engineering, and operational experience spanning the fields of semiconductor processing and packaging, computing devices, wireless products, and power generation and distribution.
Before practicing law, Josh worked for more than a decade as an electrical engineer in the semiconductor and telecommunications industries. He helped develop, manufacture, and test integrated circuit devices for various networking and mobile products. Prior to his work in industry, Josh served as an electronics technician and then reactor operator on a U.S. Navy submarine.
Josh is licensed to practice in Oregon and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He earned a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School and a B.S. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Oregon State University.
